The Inkas sacred’s lake, the amazing Titikaka or (the puma’s rock), it has been and is one of the most beautiful sceneries in south America, magic and astounded. The lake Titikaka (3800 masl) is a beautiful place where you can feel the energy coming from water and wind, the overnight place is in the Sun Island, where according with the legends, The first Inkas showed them up, and the Sun was born, a magical place with awesome views. Pilkokaina, well-known as the Sun’s temple, the Inka’s eternal youth fountain are some places that you are going to visit in this tour.
Moon island is as well another fantastic archeological site where you can feel yourself walking back in the time hundreds of years.

ITINERARY
DAY 1: LA PAZ – COPACABANA – SUN ISLAND (L, D)
The pick-up is from your hotel in La Paz, the ride is approx. 4 hrs. to Copacabana, the place is well known as the most important religious center in the Andes, immediately you’re gonna take a ferry to The Sun’s Island, sailing on the Inka’s sacred lake.
Once you’ll get there, you will have a traditional lunch in a very nice spot, then you’ll walk for around 40 min to your accommodation, which it’s located in place with privileged views. So, it’s time to explore the Island, visiting The Temple of the Sun and the Inka´s eternal youth fountain.
To end the day, you will see a beautiful sunset from the highest view point on the island. A yummy and hot dinner will be waiting for you at the hotel.
DAY 2: SUN ISLAND – MOON ISLAND – LA PAZ (B)
After breakfast, the day starts heading the Moon Island, exploring the interesting archeological site, The Temple of the Virgins, (it was used as home of a group of Inkas women, who were chosen to be one of the king INKA´s wife).
Then, the boat ride is 2 hrs. approx. to Copacabana. Once arrived in the town, you’ll have time to walk around of the very charming village with a colorful craft market and imposing Cathedral, where you see the combination of Andean traditions and catholic believes.
It’s time to go back to La Paz, the arriving time to the city is at 20:30pm approx.
