A unique city in the middle of the Andes snowcapped mountains

Start your day by exploring the historic center of La Paz, known as the “Calle Jaen.” The last colonial area in the city, later on, you’ll take a cable car ride on the Teleférico, which will give you stunning panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains. Stop at the Mirador Killi Killi for a scenic viewpoint overlooking La Paz.
Heading to Plaza Murillo, the main square of the city, and take a walk around the area. Visiting landmarks like the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Presidential Palace.
The Urban adventure includes a natural moment at Valley of the Moon (Valle de la Luna), a unique geological formation located just outside of La Paz. Walk along the narrow trails amidst the lunar-like landscapes and take in the breathtaking formations. Back in the downtown the next place to see is the famous “Witches’ Market” (Mercado de las Brujas) in the city center. Explore the market’s stalls offering traditional remedies, ritualistic items, and various types of medicinal plants. Don’t forget to try the coca tea, known for its elevation sickness alleviation properties.
