Walking through the Vergel canyon, exploring the interior of the earth inside the Umajalanta cavern, and being transported thousands of years ago through the stone city of Itas, it’s an adventure that will surpass even the highest expectations.
With quick and safe access from Cochabamba, on the new asphalt road, this region is attracting more and more tourists from all over the world.

ITINERARY
DAY 1: COCHABAMBA – TOROTORO (L, D)
Transfer from the hotel to bus station, the bus ride is 8 hrs. approx, once in the city “Llajta” (Cochabamba) the expedition goes, by land towards Torotoro on the new paved road, arriving to the park the accommodation in the lodge will be the first thing to do, just after this, a delicious lunch will be waiting for you.
In the afternoon you´ll visit the city of Itas (cave paintings, stone labyrinths), these incredible stone formations will take us back thousands of years ago, a combination of history and adventure.
Back in Torototo, a deserved rest after a special dinner.

DAY 2: FOOT SPRINTS – VERGEL WATERFALL (B, L, D)
This day you’ll visit the dinosaur footprints, El Mirador and Torotoro Canyon. Then you’ll do a really nice hike descending to the famous Vergel, also visiting the waterfalls and natural water pools.
On the way back a well-deserved delicious lunch, and later on, a free time to continue exploring this magical town, another delicious dinner will be served ending the day, and after is time of “culture learning” in the Pachamama Wasi museum.

DAY 3: UMAJALANTA CAVES – COCHABAMBA (B, L)
After breakfast one of the most exciting moments has arrived, the visit to the Umajalanta Cavern, with all the safety equipment provided, you’ll begin the adventure into the earth, exploring what was kept secret for thousands of years. This memorable trip is almost over, and the last lunch will be an ideal time to seal the friendship that was created during these days.
Everything is ready to return to Cochabamba, arriving to this city at 18.30 approx. just on time to take the flight back to La Paz.
